Here we are at the end of the ninth survey of railways in Calabria: this time the topic is not unique to our region, but some can be applied generally to all Italy. In recent years we have assistitito the spread of saloon cars for the long-distance trains, and the trend is not limited only to our nation. The reasons are basically the following: the various railway companies believe (wrongly) that a saloon car to appear safer for travelers, and especially in most cases in a uniform type of car X / Z / Y, with the ' set up to show you can gain more jobs than in a compartment. The advantages are therefore the least number of carriages per train, and thus saving personnel.

matter how insignificant our little survey, we note that 72% of you prefer cars with compartments, 22% of those living in a 4% and there are no substantial differences between set-ups and more.
Currently Trenitalia is proceeding with the transformation of the Z cars and GC (both compartments in living room) in cars for trains EurostarCity obviously salonizzate both first and second class. Just over a hundred cars will be restructured, however, maintaining the setting in compartments in expectation of future decisions.
