The Future Is Unwritten celebrates the memory of one of the greatest exponents of punk through home videos, archival materials, photographs, cartoons (made by the same Strummer), film clips, vintage interviews and testimonials from artists who knew him or who have been inspired - Bono, Martin Scorsese, Johnny Depp, Steve Buscemi, John Cusack, Jim Jarmusch, Flea and Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.
